Gibson RB-250 Mastertone Model 5 String Resonator Banjo, c. 1972, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # 184977, dark mahogany finish, mahogany neck and resonator, maple rim, rosewood fingerboard, original black hard shell case.

Overall length is 38 in. (96.5 cm.), 11 in. (27.9 cm.) diameter head, and 3 1/2 in. (8.9 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 26 1/2 in. (673 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). Super clean overall, all original and very little sign of use-some light plating wear and a worn spot on the head but overall not far from Near Mint. A wonderful example of Gibson's early-70's Mastertone revival style Bluegrass banjo. Excellent + Condition.
