Item #6186

Gibson Melody Maker Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1965), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, cherry lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard.

Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 12 3/4 in. (32.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). Very good playing condition overall. There is a light clear overspray over the entire guitar (most notably where the vibrato has been removed) and the Gibson logo has been touched up (with more sparkly gold paint!) under the finish. The pickguard and pickup cover have been polished out as well. The pickup and electronics are original, the bridge is a Badass adjustable style and the tuners are 1960's Waverly strips. A good gigging '60's Gibson solidbody, super light and very easy to play. Overall Very Good + Condition.
