Gibson LG-1 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1952), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, sunburst top, dark back and sides finish, mahogany back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, molded plastic soft shell case.
Overall length is 40 in. (101.6 cm.), 14 3/16 in. (36 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 3/8 in. (11.1 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). Well-played overall but no major finish loss, damage or repair. A couple of repaired back cracks, top has some scratches but is crack free. Very dark finish with a smokey vibe. A nice player in an old Gibson flat top. Overall Very Good + Condition.
