Item #7211
Gibson Les Paul Standard Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1982), made in Nashville, TN, serial # 80302546, sunburst top, dark back and sides finish, mahogany body, flame maple top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original molded black plastic hard shell case.
Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 in. (5.1 cm.) in depth at side. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). This very attractive '82 sunburst is a nice clean guitar overall, with just some light playwear-some small chips and dings and buckle wear into the back finish. All original with no damage or major repair. There are a couple of small alterations-straplok strap buttons have been added and the tuners are era-correct but gold plated "Gibson Deluxe" Kluson style tuners, replacing what looks like a prior Grover installation. The work is very neatly done. This guitar is an excellent player with a couple of powerful sounding humbuckers and at just under 10 lbs. far from the heaviest of these we have seen! Overall Excellent Condition.
