Item #5922

Gibson Les Paul Special Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1957), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, limed mahogany finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, brown hard shell case.

Overall length is 39 1/2 in. (100.3 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). A very clean guitar overall-not much playwear, only a few tiny chips and hardly any fade or checking. There are small screw marks from a previous old Bigsby installation but no finish "shadow" and the frets are newer-a very fine refret with slightly larger than period wire. Otherwise all original except perfect repro tuners installed-can be easily restored if desired. A very fine player and killer sounding guitar! Excellent - Condition.
