Item #2954
Gibson Les Paul Junior Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1956), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, sunburst lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, hard shell case.
A great-sounding original Junior; medium/lightweight body and one very lively P-90 pickup. Vibrant sunburst finish on top with minimal fade.
The sound of rock'n'roll heaven when cranked.
Overall length is 39 1/8 in. (99.4 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.).
Great playing and very nice condition; one tiny and almost undetectable repaired stress crack to the back of the headstock (you really have to look for it!) and some wear to the back of the neck. General overall finish wear but nothing obnoxious. For some reason someone long ago drilled two extra string holes through the bridge/tailpiece; not real obtrusive, but odd!
With modern HSC. Overall Very Good + Condition.
