Item #2293

Gibson Les Paul Junior Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1956), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, sunburst top, dark stained back and sides finish, mahogany body and neck, hard shell case.

A great-sounding all original Junior. Medium/lightweight body and one very lively P-90 pickup. Great sunburst finish on top with minimal fade.

Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) diameter of head joint, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) deep. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.).

Overall average finish wear. All original parts, except plastic tuner buttons replaced. Top relatively clean with typical checking, minor dings, and edgewear; neck nicely worn-in with minimal finish wear. The most worn area is the headstock, with some serious finish flaking both back and front; has been fully stabilized and finish buffed up.

Serial number still 90% intact and legible, and Gibson stencil intact, but "Les Paul" logo partially gone.

A great example, lightweight, and a fantastic player not "too clean" to take out and gig. Very Good + Condition.
