Item #7032

Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1972), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # 110976, gold lacquer re- finish, mahogany body with maple cap, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black hard shell case.

Overall length is 39 3/8 in. (100 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). This early 1970's Les Paul Deluxe has been expertly refinished to factory spec; the gold top shines and everything looks and sounds as it should. The patent-number mini-humbucking pickups are original; two of the pots and switch are as well, the other pots and all four 1954-style knobs are newer. The tuners have been changed to later style gold Grover Rotomatics (before the finish work, so there are no visible marks on the headstock). The Gibson patent number bridge is original, the tailpiece looks more recent. An excellent player, very little wear since the restoration. Sounds great with the slightly sharper snarl these are known for. Includes the original worn but still functional HSC. Restored to Excellent Condition.
