Item #5644
Gibson L-30 Model Arch Top Acoustic Guitar, c. 1935, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, black lacquer finish, maple back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard.
Overall length is 39 1/4 in. (99.7 cm.), 14 3/4 in. (37.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 1/2 in. (8.9 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.). Moderate wear overall, with scratches, dings and checking but no major finish loss or repairs. The pickguard appears to heve disintegrated long ago, and the tuners are modern open-back Kluson style. A very nice player, excellent sound and the Kauffman Vib-Rola works very well (the arm is a reproduction). Overall Very Good + Condition.
