Gibson L-1 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar, c. 1926, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, amber top, dark stain back and sides finish, birch back abd sides. Spruce top, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, hard shell case.

Overall length is 37 5/16 in. (94.8 cm.), 13 1/2 in. (34.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 in. (10.2 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 1/4 in. (616 mm.). Width of nut is 1 7/8 in. (48 mm.).

This guitar is in very good playing condition; it has been refinished (very thin lacquer and close to the proper color) and has had a "The Gibson" pearl logo added in place of the original stencil. The original bridge and tuners are intact, with the bridge cut down slightly, and there have been other tuner sets installed over the years. Action is quite comfortable, and this rates as a fine gigging example of this unique 1920's Gibson. Includes a high-grade modern case. Very Good Condition.
