Gibson L-1 Model Arch Top Acoustic Guitar (1917), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, natural top, cherry stained back and sides finish, birch back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, original black hard shell case.
Overall length is 38 1/2 in. (97.8 cm.), 13 7/8 in. (35.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 1/4 in. (8.3 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 1/4 in. (616 mm.). Width of nut is 1 7/8 in. (48 mm.). Beautiful original condition. Some wear near the tailpiece, otherwise only light finish chips. A superb example, plays as well as these ever do with a very nice purple-lined OHSC. Excellent + Condition.
