Item #4928
Gibson L-0 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1931), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # 62 (FON), black lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, original black chipboard case.
Overall length is 38 1/2 in. (97.8 cm.), 14 3/4 in. (37.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 3/8 in. (11.1 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.). A very clean example of this often well-used model, some wear to edges and an old strap burn on the back but overall not much finish damage. Nicest of these early larger-body L-0's we have had, a superb player with a fabulous sound. Excellent Condition.
