Item #3766

Kel Kroydon Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar, made by Gibson, c. 1931, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, natural top, dark stained back and sides finish, mahogany back, sides and neck; spruce top, black tolex soft shell case.

One of Gibson's more obscure creations, this Kel Kroydon flat top is basically a L-0 with a different personality.

Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 14 3/4 in. (37.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/4 in. (10.8 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.).

Refinished top; all other finish original. Has had a recent neck reset, refret, and graphite rod installed in the (previously un-reinforced) neck, so is an optimally playable example. Very Good + Condition.
