Item #6998
Gibson J-185-12 Model 12 String Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (2000), made in Bozeman, Montana, natural lacquer finish, maple back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black tolex hard shell case.
Overall length is 42 1/2 in. (108 cm.), 16 in. (40.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 1/2 in. (622 mm.). Width of nut is 1 15/16 in. (49 mm.). This guitar is extremely clean overall with no alterations and very little wear- it looks to have been played sparingly at best. The maple body gives this model a very good, ringing sound, and the neck is surprisingly slim and easy-playing. This is a super nice example of a 15-year-old and fairly uncommon Bozeman-made Gibson 12-string. Excellent + Condition.
