Gibson H-4 Model Carved Top Mandola (1925), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, red sunburst varnish finish, maple back and rim, spruce top; laminated mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, original black hard shell case.
Overall length is 28 3/4 in. (73 cm.), 11 in. (27.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 1/16 in. (5.2 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 15 1/2 in. (394 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). 100% original with light overall wear; one cleanly repaired crack on the top just above the fingerboard. Just a superb example, with the original HSC. Excellent Condition.
