Gibson F-12 Model Carved Top Mandolin (1952), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # A-12244, sunburst lacquer finish, maple back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black hard shell case.
Overall length is 27 3/8 in. (69.5 cm.), 9 15/16 in. (25.2 cm.) width, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). 100% original and amazingly clean...if anyone ever actually played this mandolin they took impeccable care of it! Includes a beautiful original HSC. Excellent + Condition.
