Gibson ES-330TDC Model Thinline Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1967), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, sparkling burgundy finish, laminated maple body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black chipboard case.
Overall length is 40 3/8 in. (102.6 cm.), 16 1/8 in. (41 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth at side. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). This is an excellent player's piece, very sharp looking in the rare sparkling burgundy finish and a also great sounding 330. This guitar has had a few alterations that have been properly restored. The pickups were changed to humbuckers at some point but it was later re-equipped with the original (or at least proper period) P-90 pickups; the only visible evidence is a couple of small screw holes visible at the edges of the pickup covers. There have been several sets of tuners; it is currently set up with correct style individual Kluson repros. All other hardware is original. There is some moisture damage and a belt buckle rub to the finish on the back and some playing wear to the sides of the neck, except for these areas the finish is checked but well preserved with minor wear. Plays, handles and sounds excellent, includes the original chipboard case in very good shape. Excellent - Condition.
