Item #2828
Gibson ES-300N Model Arch Top Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1950), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, blonde lacquer finish, laminated maple body, mahogany neck, original black hard shell case.
A particularly beautiful Gibson, this blonde ES-300 is the finest postwar non-cutaway electric in Gibson's line. This guitar has a surprisingly bright and powerful sound from the laminated all-maple body with two P-90 pickups. This is a spectacularly well-preserved guitar and a great example for both playing and collecting.
Overall length is 42 in. (106.7 cm.), 17 in. (43.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 1/2 in. (8.9 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.).
Very clean original condition overall, with only the most minor wear. Master tone knob has an internal crack repair; solid, but visible. Added strap buttons, otherwise all original. Excellent + Condition.
