Item #4598
Gibson ES-150 Model Arch Top Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1953), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, sunburst top, dark back and sides finish, laminated maple body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original brown tolex hard shell case.
Overall length is 42 in. (106.7 cm.), 17 in. (43.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). A great looking and sounding early-'50's Gibson, all original except correct style but later 1960's Kluson Deluxe tuners. Very clean finish overall, some small nicks and dings mostly to headstock face; pickguard is fully original but has been re-glued at the mounting block. A very fine player and a sharp looking guitar! Excellent Condition.
