A nice working example of the world's first great guitar amplifier. Original Gibson "High Fidelity Ultra Sonic Reproducer" -- a field coil 12" speaker.

Lower edges have leather corners, leather luggage handle, removable latched back, and four round rubber feet. Has 10 5/8" round speaker hole and black metal grill.

Control panel from left is: on/off, fuse, echo/speaker, microphone volume, pilot light, instrument's volume, 1 mic and 2 instrument inputs, and a normal tone/bass tone toggle switch.

As used by Charlie Christian and a host of 1940's greats.

Height is 15 3/8 in. (39 cm.), 16 3/8 in. (41.6 cm.) wide, and 8 1/2 in. (21.6 cm.) deep.

Very nice original condition, handle replaced. All electronics are unaltered; this amp is somewhat noisy, but we have elected not to alter any circuitry or components in order to preserve its originality. Sounds fearsome with the matching ETB-150 Electric Tenor Banjo, our stock #500. Excellent Condition.
