Item #2831

Gibson EH-150 Seven-String Model Lap Steel Electric with Matching Amplifier Guitar (1940), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, sunburst lacquer finish, maple body, rosewood fingerboard, tweed original hard shell case.

A great matching set with both the instrument and the tweed amp box and case in exceptionally fine condition. Seven-string prewar Gibson steels are relatively rare, and this is a particularly nice example.

Overall length is 32 1/4 in. (81.9 cm.), 9 in. (22.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 1/16 in. (5.2 cm.) deep. Scale length is 22 1/2 in. (572 mm.).

Guitar is all original with some minor finish wear. Tweed fabric on both the amp and the guitar case is some of the cleanest we have ever seen, with virtually no fade and very little wear.

A spectacular set for either play or display. Excellent + Condition.
