Cromwell EG Model Tube Guitar Amplifier, made by Gibson, c. 1938, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, tweed fabric covering finish.
Between 1935 and 1939 Gibson had several in house budget brands of which Cromwell was one. Most likely this amplifier originally sold with an accompanying Cromwwell lap steel guitar. Like the other budget brand amps of the time, the EG was nearly identical to Gibsons EH-100. A great little amp with a sweet sound.
Height is 12 1/16 in. (30.6 cm.), 14 in. (35.6 cm.) width, and 6 1/2 in. (16.5 cm.) deep. Tweed is in excellent condition. Changed capacitors - originals included with amplifier. Excellent Condition.
