Gibson Byrdland Model Thinline Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1960), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # A-33778, sunburst lacquer finish, maple back and sides, spruce top; maple neck with ebony fingerbord, original brown hard shell case.
 
Overall length is 40 3/4 in. (103.5 cm.), 16 7/8 in. (42.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 23 3/8 in. (594 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). A superb all-original example of this rare Gibson, one of only 71 made in the last year of the original Venitian (round) cutaway version. This guitar has only light wear overall, and no repairs or modifications except a Gibson strap button added at the neck heel. There is some wear to the gold plating on the pickup covers and bridge but overall this guitar is in exceptional condition for its age. Includes a lovely OHSC. Excellent Condition.
