Gibson BR-2 Century Model Lap Steel Electric Guitar, c. 1949, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, black lacquer finish, maple body.
Overall length is 32 in. (81.3 cm.), 8 1/4 in. (21 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 22 1/2 in. (572 mm.). Width of nut is 2 1/4 in. (57 mm.). All original except replaced plastic tuner buttons; some dings (mostly on the back) and one chip on upper bout edge. Top corner of plastic handguard is missing on bass side. Super sharp looking and great sounding! Excellent Condition.
