Gibson A-0 Model Carved Top Mandolin, c. 1932, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # 89204, brown lacquer finish, maple back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, original black chipboard case.
Overall length is 25 3/4 in. (65.4 cm.), 10 1/4 in. (26 cm.) wide, and 1 13/16 in. (4.6 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). All original with very little wear, some small scratches and finish rubs around the undbound back but not a lot of play time on this one. 1" repair on back center seam, otherwise plays and sounds great, a lovely example. Overall Excellent + Condition.
