Item #6875
Georg Haid Viennese Model Classical Guitar (20th Century), made in Vienna, shaded maple back and sides, natural top finish, maple back and sides, spruce top; blacked maple neck with ebony fingerboard, hard shell case.
Overall length is 38 1/2 in. (97.8 cm.), 15 1/8 in. (38.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 11/16 in. (11.9 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 3/16 in. (640 mm.).
Overall very solid with only some general light finish wear and a couple of old repaired top cracks. This is a fairly unusual deep-bodied Germanic guitar; the features are a mix of 19th century Viennese and more modern aesthetics. This guitar has a very good sound, quite warm for a maple-body instrument and excellent playabilty. A lovely and interesting instrument complete with the original HSC. Overall Excellent Condition.
