Item #9321

Fender Vibro-Champ AA764 Model Tube Amplifier (1966), made in Fullerton, California, serial # A-11532, black tolex covering finish.

Height is 14 in. (35.6 cm.), 17 in. (43.2 cm.) width, and 7 in. (17.8 cm.) deep.

This little blackface beauty is nicely original and quite clean overall, with some light wear overall. The Tolex is a wee bit dirty but fully intact There is minor corrosion to the handle mounts and chrome chassis straps, the faceplate has some scuffing but the graphics are largely intact.

The tube chart is stamped "PD", indicating assembly in April 1966. The original Oxford speaker has been reconed by Weber and sounds great again. Both power and output transformers are original and date to 1966, reading 6-08 and 6-01, respectively.

The amp has been professionally serviced, including our standard replacement of all electrolytic capacitors and leaky coupling caps, removal of "death" cap and a three-prong power cord installed. This is a really nice example with a strong output and a nice growly sound when cranked! Overall Excellent - Condition.
