Item #4076

Fender Tube Model Reverb Unit Effect, c. 1961, made in Fullerton, California, Brown Tolex finish.

A very early example of the classic Fender Reverb, the indespensible link in the surf guitar signal chain. This is the first version in brown tolex and wheat grill cloth, with a serial 3 under 1000. The pots are dated 1959 and all components appear original, including the leather handle.

Height is 11 in. (27.9 cm.), 19 in. (48.3 cm.) width, and 7 1/2 in. (19 cm.) deep.

Very good condition overall, missing the reverb-lock lever and with several filled holes in the tolex on the backplate. There is one noticeable stain to the tolex on top and the original plug is hard plastic and is chipped on one side. Works very well and sounds great. Excellent Condition.
