Item #2359

Fender Telecaster Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1969), made in Fullerton, California, Lake Placid Blue lacquer re finish, ash body, maple cap neck, black tolex hard shell case.

A relatively rare January 1969 maple-cap neck Telecaster that has been refinished to Lake Placid blue. Solid professional job -- neck retains original dated heel and decal appears original under clear overfinish. Body contours are sharper than normal, no doubt the result of a rather forcefull stripping sometime in the past.

Plays and sounds fine, with a slightly eccentric wiring setup including a backwards switch and added mini toggle in the center of the control plate. A fine flashy-looking "player's Tele."

Overall length is 38 3/4 in. (98.4 cm.), 12 7/8 in. (32.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) deep. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.).

Refinish body and neck. Original parts and components.
