Fender Telecaster Custom Journeyman Custom Shop Ltd. NAMM 50s Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (2015), made in Corona, CA, serial # R14772, Ice Blue Metallic lacquer finish, ash body, maple neck, original black tolex hard shell case.
This Fender Telecaster Custom is described on the COA as a "Ltd. NAMM 50's Custom Jrn/CC". These were made in limited numbers especially for the 2015 NAMM show. This one is a lightly relic'ed "Reissue" of a guitar that never existed, a 1950s one-piece maple neck Telecaster Custom with a bound body in a 1960s Ice Blue Metallic finish. It has a "AAA Flame Tinted" maple neck in the '52 style U shape with a 9.5" radius and large 6105 frets. The bound body is loaded with Handwound "51 Nocaster" bridge pickup and a "Texas special" neck PU, run through modern Tele wiring with "Greasebucket" wiring. This is a very attractive modern/vintage Telecaster with a big chunky neck, looking not much actually used in the original HSC with the strap, receipt and COA.
Overall length is 38 3/8 in. (97.5 cm.), 12 5/8 in. (32.1 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.)., 7.57 lbs.
This guitar appears to be in hardly played condition, looking not too much used over the last nearly i0 years. Of course it is designed to look like it's been played for 60+ years, but then that's the idea. The frets show no wear and the guitar performs exactly as it should, a sweet sounding and ready to gig modern "Old" Custom Tele in a particularly lovely shade. Excellent Condition.
