Item #3402
Fender Stratocaster Model Solid Body Electric Guitar, c. 1970, made in Fullerton, California, sunburst finish, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black hard shell case.
Overall length is 39 15/16 in. (101.4 cm.), 12 3/4 in. (32.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).
A very good-playing and sounding 1970 Stratocaster. Body and neck finish is original with a little touch-up on the upper body edge. Apart from some buckle rash on the back, there is only light play wear visible. Humbucker rout to the body in the lead position; internal cavities have an added coat of shielding paint. The pickups and pickguard are a matched set from 1970, the pots and knobs are a bit of a mixed bag, and the switch is a later 5-way. This is a good looking, well-restored guitar; an excellent bargain in a player's Stratocaster. Very Good + Condition.
