Item #7446
Fender Princeton 5E2 Model Tube Amplifier (1955), made in Fullerton, California, tweed fabric covering finish.
Height is 12 in. (30.5 cm.), 13 1/2 in. (34.3 cm.) width, and 7 3/4 in. (19.7 cm.) in depth at deepest point. This is a very clean amp overall; the tweed covering shows some typical scuffing but no major wear. There has been some internal repairs; a three prong cord has been added, the output transformer appears to date to 1965 (and looks to have been there a long time!) and the filter caps have been replaced (originals included) along with some of the resistors. The Jensen speaker dates to the first week of 1955. This is a very good sounding amp, with a serious snarl when pushed. Excellent Condition.
