Item #7206
Fender Princeton 5C2 Model Tube Amplifier (1954), made in Fullerton, California, serial # 4067, tweed fabric covering finish.
Height is 12 3/8 in. (31.4 cm.), 13 1/4 in. (33.7 cm.) wide, and 7 1/4 in. (18.4 cm.) deep.
This is a fine gigging or recording example of an early wide-panel tweed Princeton. This amp has had some recent service with several changed capacitors, a modern 3 prong cord, and a more recent Weber signature Series speaker. The original period Sylvania power and rectifier tubes are still intact, the preamp tube of recent vintage. Externally the amp is fairly well worn overall with scuffs and wear to the tweed and noticeable corrosion on the faceplate, which is bent a bit at one input jack. A bit funky, snarly and great sounding, this is a funky old Fender with a lot of vibe. Overall Very Good + Condition.
