Item #7112
Fender Precision Bass Model Solid Body Electric Bass Guitar, c. 1975, made in Fullerton, California, Silver re- finish, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, molded plastic hard shell case.
Overall length is 45 7/8 in. (116.5 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 34 in. (864 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).
Here's a real "relic" in a 70's Fender bass; the body refinished long ago in a sleek automotive silver -- a color not offered by Fender at the time. The neck is fully original and plays well with some moderate fret wear and finish crazing. The body has dings and chips and some heavy belt buckle wear to the back. The pickup, pickguard, wiring, and knobs are all of more recent vintage. A good "knock-around" P-bass with a cool vibe. Very Good + Condition.
