Fender Precision Bass Model Solid Body Electric Bass Guitar (1966), made in Fullerton, California, serial # 150725, sunburst lacquer finish, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, black tolex hard shell case.

Overall length is 46 in. (116.8 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 34 in. (864 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.). A fine playing example of the classic '66 Precision Bass-there is some typical playwear but the bass remains original and unaltered. The chrome bridge cover is still present, but the center handrest cover and finger rest "tug bar" are missing. The vibrant, unfaded sunburst finish body shows some edgewear mostly in the area where the player's arm contacted the top rim, and a bit on the lower horn. There is a spot of play wear through the finish on the face just above the round on the pickguard above the pickup; the rest of the face and most of the back are quite clean. The neck finish is worn down cleanly in the typical spots, with that perfect worn-in old Fender feel. This is a wonderful sounding and playing bass, quite lightweight and ready to go, with the warm but slightly brighter and more aggressive tone the '66 Precisions specialize in Includes a correct style but slightly later Fender HSC. Overall Excellent - Condition.
