Fender Precision Bass Model Solid Body Electric Bass Guitar (1966), made in Fullerton, California, Candy Apple Red lacquer finish, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, alder body, black tolex hard shell case.
A very nice example of an early CBS era custom color Fender bass with much of the feel and sound of earlier instruments. Thin rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay and original small frets; "transition" Fender logo decal. White thick 3-ply pickguard, fingerrest and tailpiece cover intact but center cover missing.
Vibrant candy apple red paint with very little fade.
Height is 45 in. (114.3 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) width, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) . Scale length is 34 in. (864 mm.).
100% original with some light finish wear and chipping. Excellent Condition.
