Item #3082
Fender Jazzmaster Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1965), made in Fullerton, California, sunburst lacquer finish, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, black tolex hard shell case.
This is a great example of an "early CBS" Fender Jazzmaster, built just slightly after Leo's company had been sold into corporate slavery! Typical 1965 appointments include the very "tight" sunburst finish with little color blending, thin rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, tortoise plastic (not nitro) laminated pickguard, and late L-series serial number. This is a great-feeling and fine-sounding Jazzmaster.
Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 14 in. (35.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) deep. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.).
All original except some screws and an added second string tree on the headstock. Some light finish wear, otherwise extremely fine overall. Excellent + Condition.
