Item #5136

Fender Jazzmaster Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1961), made in Fullerton, California, serial # 67554, sunburst lacquer finish, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, original brown tolex hard shell case.

A beautiful all-original slab-board Jazzmaster, complete with the original brown tolex case, hang tag, strap, instruction booklet and even the elusive "Tolex" tag with helpful information about the case covering. The neck date is 10-61. These early Jazzmasters were the top of the Fender line and are exceptionally fine instruments, with a unique sound.

Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 14 1/4 in. (36.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). Very nice overall, 100% original-even the bridge cover is intact. Some small filled dings and finish chips, more to the back than front but no major wear. A well-kept guitar-unfaded finish, nothing changed or repaired except trem arm has been bent a bit to a curvier shape. One of the nicest playing and sounding Jazzmasters we have had. Overall Excellent + Condition.
