Item #3256
Fender Jazz Bass Model Solid Body Electric Bass Guitar (1974), made in Fullerton, California, natural finish, ash body, maple neck, gig bag case.
A nicely preserved 1974 natural finish Jazz Bass. Bound maple fingerboard, pearloid block inlay, old-style four-bolt neck, and truss rod constructionthis was built in the last year before the Jazz Bass received the dreaded three-bolt neck. Original black/white/black pickguard, all pickups and electronics intact; pots dated to late 1973. These tight-sounding ash-bodied 1970's instruments have a very penetrating bright tone and are the ultimate "funk" bass for slap-style playing.
Overall length is 46 1/2 in. (118.1 cm.), 14 in. (35.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 9/16 in. (4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 34 in. (864 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/2 in. (38 mm.).
Average light finish wear; original, except missing the chrome covers and thumbrest. Excellent player and very good sounding. Excellent Condition.
