Item #4787
Fender Dual Professional Model High Steel Electric Guitar (1950), made in Fullerton, California, serial # D-761, Blonde lacquer finish, ash body, original tweed hard shell case.
Overall length is 28 3/4 in. (73 cm.), 12 1/4 in. (31.1 cm.) width, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 22 1/4 in. (565 mm.). Width of nut is 2 1/4 in. (57 mm.). This early Fender steel has been well-gigged but well cared for and has likely been on thousands of honky-tonk stages. There is some general play wear, quite a bit of bar-bashing into the lower fingerboard but the instrument is still all original except the volume pot. Comes with a VERY battered original tweed case that is not really functional; a great sounding veteran of America's musical highways. Overall Very Good + Condition.
