Item #6585

Fender Deluxe Model Tube Amplifier (1954), made in Fullerton, California, serial # 1951, tweed finish.

Height is 16 in. (40.6 cm.), 16 in. (40.6 cm.) width, and 8 1/2 in. (21.6 cm.) deep. A decent amount of old dirt and scuffing to the tweed but no large areas of loss or shred-overall a nicely worn-in old Fender Deluxe. A lot of scratching to the control plate but much of the printed marking array is still intact. Recently overhauled and re-capped by dean of the NY amp gurus Blackie Pagano, and ready for the next 60 years. New 3-prong cord and replaced filter caps (originals included); the speaker is the correct blue Jensen but dates to the first half of 1955 so was likely replaced early on (the dust of the ages was still thick on the frame when this amp came in!). Very fine NOS RCA and Phillips power tubes; this is a great sounding Deluxe with just the right mix of crunch and punch! Includes a nice custom cover. Overall Very Good + Condition.
