Fender Competition Mustang Model Solid Body Electric Bass Guitar (1969), made in Fullerton, California, serial # 272449, orange with red stripe accent finish, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, original hard shell case.

A splendid first-year example of the rarest competition finish Mustang Bass.
 
Overall length is 42 1/8 in. (107 cm.), 12 1/2 in. (31.8 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 30 in. (762 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). All original down to the last screw�some light wear to the edges but very fine overall. The bridge mute foam has shrunken into a black rocky mass (can be removed/replaced if desired) otherwise everything works perfectly-great looks, great sound-the coolest Mustang ever! Excellent + Condition.
