Item #7247
Fender Antigua II Model Thinline Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1967), made in Fullerton, California, Antigua shaded polyester finish, laminated maple body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black hard shell case.
Overall length is 41 3/8 in. (105.1 cm.), 16 1/4 in. (41.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). Very clean overall, and actually a very good sounding and playing guitar. This Antigua remains all original except the unusual Grover/Fender tuners have been replaced with Kluson re-issues, leaving a small seam split under the bottom of the low E tuner and some finish chipping to the headstock as a result. This could be restored fairly easily if desired. There is some playwear to the lacquer on the back of the neck in the lower positions. The rest of the finish is very nicely preserved, not checked, chipped and flakes as some Antiguas are but with just a little bit of curly-cord burn to the back. A very nice example of this fairly rare Coronado variant, includes the cool original Gibson-style Victoria Luggage HSC. Excellent - Condition.
