Item #2682
Ecco-Fonic Model 109-B Model Echo Effect, c. 1961, made in Los Angeles, Brown Tolex with gold interior finish.
One of the coolest, and certainly one of the rarest of early guitar effects devices, the Los Angeles built Ecco-Fonic is truly a Holy Grail for pickers of a certain persuasion.
The Ecco-Fonic was available for a few short years in the early 1960's but is a seminal piece, the first practical stand-alone tape echo unit.
Height is 8 7/8 in. (22.5 cm.), 18 1/2 in. (47 cm.) width, and 9 1/4 in. (23.5 cm.) deep.
Very good working condition; appears all original except the single large Bakelite knob does not match the other "TV" knobs and is probably a replacement.
Very rare to find these in functioning condition. Has been fully tested and works great! Excellent Condition.
