Del Pilar Jr. J7 Model Classical Guitar (2001), made in Brooklyn, NY, natural varnish finish, bubinga back and sides, western red spruce top, black hard shell case.
William Del Pilar Jr. is the son of Guillermo Del Pilar, and he continues the family tradition of individually handcrafted high-grade guitars made in downtown Brooklyn. This is a very fine-sounding concert guitar using Del Pilar's unique patented top bracing system and built using beautifully figured aged bubinga wood.
While the Del Pilar guitars have long been one of Brooklyn's best-kept secrets, the creations of both father and son have been becoming more and more appreciated in the guitar community in recent years and we are proud to have this delightful guitar in stock.
Overall length is 39 1/8 in. (99.4 cm.), 14 1/8 in. (35.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 3/4 in. (9.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 2 in. (51 mm.).
Hardly any signs of playing or handling; nearly perfect, with no alterations or repairs. A fine modern concert guitar at a very reasonable price. Near Mint Condition.
