Silvertone Model 1305 Model Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar, made by Danelectro (1958), made in Neptune, NJ, black-grey sunburst lacquer finish, Masonite and pine body, poplar neck with rosewood fingerboard, black gig bag case.
This rare 3-pickup Danelectro was the top of the line the company supplied to Sears in 1958. With a black-ivory sunburst and black plastic pickguard, this is a striking-looking and wonderful-sounding instrument, the very epitome of 1950's cool.
Overall length is 38 in. (96.5 cm.), 13 3/8 in. (34 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/8 in. (3.5 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 5/8 in. (651 mm.). Width of nut is 1 in. (25 mm.).
Some average wear overall, mostly finish rubs to the neck and edges. The top knobs on the concentric pots are modern repros; all else is original. A really nice example of yet another rare Danelectro. Excellent - Condition.
