Danelectro Lap Steel Electric Guitar, c. 1960, made in Neptune, NJ, natural lacquer with stenciling finish.
Like just about everything else made by Danelectro, this lap steel is basic, practical, and sounds great. Body is built with a center block with added side pieces; single Danno pickup has tone and volume on either side. Natural wood finish with stenciled 3-octave fret markers, rosewood bridge, nut, and headstock logo plate. A rare, neat, collectable piece of Danelectro history and a fine-sounding steel.
Overall length is 32 1/2 in. (82.6 cm.), 7 in. (17.8 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 23 in. (584 mm.). Width of nut is 2 in. (51 mm.).
100% original with some average finish wear; no repairs or alterations. Excellent Condition.
