Item #5847

Danelectro Companion Model Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1960), made in Neptune, NJ, serial # 6030, formica with vinyl siding finish, masonite and pine body, poplar neck with rosewood fingerboard, brown alligator case.

One of the rarest of all Danelectro models, the Companion was the deluxe version of the wildly popular Danelectro Convertible. Fully hollow with two pickups, the Companion was only made from 1959-1960 and is perhaps the best sounding countertop you'll come across. An excellent playing and truly unique avatar of 50's Populux culture.
