Collings D3H Custom Brazilian Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1993), made in Austin, TX, natural lacquer finish, Brazilian rosewood back and sides; spruce top, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard and bridge, black tolex hard shell case.
This D3H has premium Brazilian rosewood back and sides that were personally supplied by New York guitar dealer Matt Umanov from his personal (then) 25 year old stash. The Matt Umanov Guitar sticker is still on the back of the headstock. With nearly 20 years of additional aging this guitar has mellowed into a big sounding dreadnought; a unique and very fine example of an exceptionally nice Collings from the early days of the company.
Overall length is 40 1/8 in. (101.9 cm.), 15 5/8 in. (39.7 cm.) wide at lower bout. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.). One discreetly repaired back crack, one small ding to the top; otherwise near mint condition-very little play time on this one. Overall Excellent + Condition.
