C. F. Martin Style 2 Model Soprano Ukulele, c. 1940's, made in Nazareth, PA, natural lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, black tolex original chipboard case.
A very clean and especially nice Martin Style 2 mahogany ukulele from the early postwar era. White celluloid bound mahogany body, white button "short" tuning pegs, large gold 40's style "C.F.Martin" logo decal.
Very loud and bright sounding; plays great.
Overall length is 21 in. (53.3 cm.), 6 3/8 in. (16.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) deep. Scale length is 13 3/4 in. (349 mm.).
Very little used, except for some minor finish dings in the soundhole area and some VERY light playwear. Miraculously no cracks anywhere!
Complete with excellent original black tolex red fleece-lined case. Excellent + Condition.
